WLEEA’s annual awards recognize outstanding contributions to the Explorer program, and our scholarships help graduating Explorers pursue higher education. Submissions go directly to the WLEEA board for review.

Higher Education

Apply for a Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Three $1,000 scholarships awarded annually to help Explorers pursue college, trade school, or other higher education.

  • High school graduates or graduating seniors
  • Active Explorers or recent program alumni
  • Requires essay, two letters of recommendation, and resume
  • Not eligible for Running Start
